The Florian system has three basic defenses against water infiltration The first and most important is our Heavy-duty 5-fin E.P.D.M rubber glazing gasketing around each panel and both sides, which creates a water tight seal when the pressure plate caps are screwed down to the interior main bar. Second is our internal gutter system which if leakage occurs the water will drip onto the interior gutter and run down the slope of the frame draining out the front eave caps & weep hole. Third is a wet seal which is a caulking of exterior vertical and horizontal connecting points. If the structure is installed properly you should not have any leakage issues. Internal Wire Chase

Many of our competitor's solar racking systems are cost effective but not up to IBC code.The Solar industry takes a blind eye to standard building code in regards to its racking and the panels. The cost per Watt industry keeps prices low by not using the IBC (International Building Code) on its overhead glazing. This gray area is commonly overlooked as most panels are not laminated and most racking is not engineered correctly.
